THE RAKSHA BANDHAN LOTTERY RESULTS

The Finance Department of the Punjab Government organizes the ‘Rakhi Bumper’ Lottery every year on the Hindu Festival of Raksha Bandhan. In the Hindu Calendar, the festival falls on the full-moon day in the lunar month of Shravana. The draw of the ‘Rakhi Bumper’ lottery takes place before or after the official festival.

The cost price of the tickets for the ‘Rakhi Bumper’ lottery is ₹200. The bumper prize lottery is worth ₹ 1,50,00,000 crores. The next six prizes of the lottery are worth ₹10,00,000, ₹5,00,000, ₹2,50,000, ₹ 50,000, ₹20000, ₹1000, respectively. 

TODAY’S RESULTS

The players of this bumper lottery go to the Camp Office in Ludhiana to hear the results. If you do not live in or near Ludhiana, you can go to the official website of the Lottery Department for the results. The results are also announced in the Government Gazette. 

In 2019, the results were announced on 3rd September.

There were:

Two first prize winners – A860799, B750320,- ₹1,50,00,000 

Five second prize winners – A710349, B668226, A911095, B441195, B329779 – ₹10,00,000

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE

You have to claim the prize money within 30 days from the date of Gazette notification. The process to claim the Punjab Lottery is shared below:  

  • Collect the claim form the Directorate of Punjab State Lotteries or download it from here http://www.punjabstatelotteries.gov.in/uploads/715fe098a5fdd90c3046ee63c228001c.pdf
  • Affix three passport size photographs to the form. Gazetted Officers must attest two of the photographs.
  • Attach a cancelled cheque for the bank account in which you want the money to be transferred.
  • Fill in the form correctly and attach your winning ticket, Make sure the winning ticket is not damaged and that you sign it.
  • Submit the claim form to the Directorate of Punjab State Lotteries, Plot No 2, Vie Te Yojana Bhawan, Sector -33A, Chandigarh.

Winners receive the prize money only after the lottery department verifies the claims of the winning ticket holder.
