The consolation prize of the ‘Thiruvonam Bumper’ lottery is worth ₹5 lakhs.

The process of claiming the Thiruvonam lottery is explained below:

  • First, you collect a claim form. Fill in the form correctly.
  • Ensure the winning ticket is signed and carries your signature. 
  • Collect and attach all required documents such as 4 passport-sized photos, self-attested claim form, copy of the PAN Card, and a valid ID Proof. 
  • Submit your winning lottery ticket within 30 days of the announcement to the Lottery Department. 
  • You can claim prize money up to ₹1 lakh directly from the District Lottery Office. 
  • However, if your winning amounts to more than ₹1 lakh, then you need to visit the office of the Director of State Lotteries, located in Thiruvananthapuram, or a bank.
